Eligibility Criteria for :

  1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    1. A Senior Assistant on recruitment has to undergo the ab-initio course for Sr. Asstt. (Electronics).
    2. An executive on recruitment has to undergo the Ab-initio courses for Manager (Electronics) OR Junior Executive (Electronics).
    3. For promotion to become an executive he has to undergo Promotion eligibility course (SEA).
    4. An executive should have qualified ab-initio course before becoming eligible to any of the Proficiency linked (PLI) courses for specialization.
    5. An executive will be considered for refresher course subject to his already qualifying ab-initio/PLI course earlier.
    6. An executive of the level of AM and above, on posting to CATC has to undergo Instructional Technique Course (ITC) for becoming AN INSTRUCTOR.
  2. Training nomination criteria for various CNS training courses
    (As per CHQ letter NO. AAI/GM CNS Meeting/2012 dated: 28/01/2013)
    1. First preference to be given for personnel having general proficiency and willing to convert to Discipline proficiency with the idea that they all are trained and made proficient in accordance with DGCA CAR requirement.
    2. Facility is available at the station.
    3. Working experience in the unit.
    4. Utilization plan after training. The executive after training has to perform 06 months duty in the field of acquired proficiency. Accordingly a person may not be nominated for more than two courses in a year.
    5. Availability of trained manpower in the unit/at the station.
    6. Officer being considered for nomination should not be tentatively due for tenure posting in the current year in case of specialized system training like ASMGCS, Radar and Automation.
    7. All the training nominations are approved by CHQ.
