CATC Prayagraj is a training institute of Airports Authority of India which imparts training to its employees responsible for provision of Air Navigation Services (ANS) and to those sponsored by other ANSPs (Air Navigation Service Provider) or CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) of the other country.

These courses are not available for general public.

PANS-OPS Instrument Procedure Design (Basic) Course

Area Control Course (ICAO 055)

Safety Management System Course (SMS)

To train civil aviation personnel in Safety Management Services (SMS) as per guidelines and standards laid down in ICAO Annex-19 and DOC-9859.

Aerodrome And Ground Aids Course

After completion of the course the participants will be able to:

a) Implement ICAO standards and recommended practices in the upkeep and maintenance of movement area;

b) Implement DGCA requirements for aerodrome design and operation;

c) Identify the aeronautical hazards and implement the mitigation plan.

Instructional Technique Course (ITC)

After completion of the course the participants will be able to:

a) Describe the training organization, human factor, training techniques, assessment methods and report writing;

b) Prepare an instructor guide on a subject of his/her choice related to the field of aviation;

c) Demonstrate the level of knowledge, skill, and attitude acquired during the course by giving a power point presentation on the subject for which instructor guide has been prepared by him/her.
